The Jews of Israel are FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES. That’s why they are tough.

This isn’t a game. It’s not a political discussion. It’s not a philosophical tete-a-tete. It is a war that has been in the making since Cain and Abel.

While enterprises around the world try to protect their own self-interests by trying to propagandize the world into sympathy for the terrorists, Israel is fighting for it’s very LIFE.

The only explanation I can come up with as to why various entities in this country would support terrorism against the interest of America, the West or Israel would be that those entities are protecting financial interests. They don’t want a wider war that might threaten their financial portfolios and that might institute the draft and involve their own demon-seed in the process of giving something back to their country. They would rather keep them in their chi-chi prep schools or in some high end college.

In other words, take full advantage of the freedoms and opportunities of this country and just let the sweating masses deal with all the icky stuff.

The propaganda is running deep and hard. All the news is about how Israel is striking Palestine and/or Lebanon. ‘Israel has raised the stakes’, the news says. What about what Lebanon did to raise the stakes?

Pictures of suffering palestinians. Nothing about the suffering of the Israelis.

I saw a special in which there was a comparison between a palestinian soldier and an Israeli soldier. I told Beloved Curmudgeon when the show started that I bet they will show baby pictures of the palestinian and not the Israeli. I was UNFORTUNATELY RIGHT.

The show focused on the mother of the palestinian ’soldier’ crying over his baby pictures. The camera lingered on the photos. The Israeli Soldier was never shown in real-life - just pictures of him IN HIS MILITARY UNIFORM. Nothing of him out of uniform. Nothing of his family life, nothing of him other than as a Soldier.

Can there be a more obvious example of an attempt to bend public sympathy in one direction over the other?

Meanwhile, Israel is being attacked from all sides. The muslim countries surrounding it have declared they want to destroy it and push all Jews into the sea. Yet Israel is being portrayed as the aggressor.

I don’t care about your financial interests or the fact that your snotty, spoiled kids might get some holes punched in their precious little hides. I don’t care if you feel sorry for the palestinians who have had ample opportunity to play fair but have repeatedly refused. I don’t care if you think they are the underdogs. Israel and the US give money to palestine, a LOT of money, but their own leadership let them starve while pocketing the funds the world sends their way.

It’s time, way past time, to decide whose side we are on.

previous: Israel Strikes Palestinian Foreign Ministry

Blue Crab Boulevard says: ‘The sudden burst of sectarian violence in Baghdad is probably also related to the situation. It is almost certainly Iran pulling the strings on that as well.’

Iraq the Model has some very good insights into the events of the Middle East. He says the muslims want a war and just might get one.

Euphoric Reality is posting developments in real-time.

The Rantings of a Sandmonkey is has also done real-time posting. He shares this speech:

The Hezbollah farce. Right now Nasrallah is giving a speech. This is what he is saying basically (hanks Lisa): That the prisoners will be returned except via negotiations and prisoner exchange. He has connected the kidnapping to the IDF actions in gaza, and he says he wants a ceasefire, and is blaming the “escalation” on the northern border on israel.

“What happened today is the fault of Israel. It is because the previous government refused to return certain prisoners”

warning to Israel: “if you want to return lebanon to the situation it was in 20 years ago, don’t forget that lebanon is not the same country. We are much stronger now.”

“we are willing to continue the confrontation as much as it needs be”

“We are not afraid of israel. We will not show any hesitation. We go forward with perfect faith that we will be victorious”

“We are not alone. Israel, don’t make a mistake. Whoever takes the side of israel we will be isolated. That is my message to israel”

Now he is warning the gov’t of lebanon: “Don’t make any mistakes. Do not dare to support israel against us.”

“now we need to show national unity”

“you can fight with me if you want. but now we stand to the test together.”

“And to the international community that calls for the return of the 2 soldiers, i don’t care if lebanon has to suffer and to those who say we have to apologie to Israel. that is not going to happen.”

Fantastic, no?

Fantastic, yes!
