EFFETE MURDERERS

This terrorist, Joao Silva and the New York Times

So the New York Times thinks they’ve got themselves a real scoop here. They got themselves some photos of terrorist murderers trying to kill American Soldiers! Aren’t they just something. That makes them so special - at least in their treasonist eyes.

This is the caption the New York Times put with this photo:

A sniper loyal to Shiite cleric Moqtada al Sadr fires towards U.S. positions in the cemetery in Najaf, Iraq.

Michele McNally: “Right there with the Mahdi army. Incredible courage.”

INCREDIBLE COURAGE???

How about incredible GREED! Greed at the cost of American Soldiers’ lives. Greed in hopes of a Pulitzer Prize. Greed in hopes of turning this photo along with the compilation of photos into a cash cow for the NYT empire and for the photographer.

How about incredible HUBRIS!

Euphoric Reality calls the compilation of photographs ‘a larger worshipful paean to the terrorists, which the NY Times obviously favorably views as valiant a nd admirable “freedom fighters”:

In the Company of God is a photographic compilation that portrays Iraqi Shi’a Muslims in a period of occupation and transition. This photographic body of work, recorded over twelve months, richly captures the Shi’as’ intense commitment to their faith and their indomitable spirit of sacrifice.

The pictures in this book are not displayed in a chronological order but rather in a manner that best illustrates a narrative about faith, sacrifice, war and martyrdom. They were taken while on assignment for The New York Times, from July 30 to November 3, 2003, from January 16 till April 1, 2004, from June16 until August 30, 2004, and again from January 18, 2005 until March 31, 2005.

How about incredible TREASON!

If that picture doesn’t make you sick, there is something wrong with you. If the way that picture was obtained doesn’t make you sick, there is something wrong with you. If the fact that the photographer and the New York Times are making money off this photo of a terrorists sniper with intent to kill American Soldiers doesn’t make you sick, there is something wrong with you.

The following information might be useful if you want to let the photographer and the New York Times know how you feel about this kind of treason.

  • The book is called In the Company of God (it makes me ill just to type that title!). You can follow the link and leave a message if you would like.
  • The photographer is Joao Silva
  • His email is jsilva@aztec.co.za
  • His website is http://www.picturenet.africa.com/jsilva/

I heard about this on the Kit and Heidi Show on Wide Awake Radio and culled information from Euphoric Reality.

Let the New York Times know what Americans’ think of them. Boycott of the New York Times. Enough is enough. I will buy nothing published or produced that puts money in the pockets of anyone associated with the New York Times, it’s subsidiaries or any auxiliary entity even remotely associated with the New York Times.

There should no longer be any question as to what side the New York Times is on.

A Pultizer Prize is not worth the blood of an American Soldier, a British Soldier, a Japanese Soldier, an Australian Soldier or any of our other allies.

I’m obviously a day late and a dollar short on this article - I hate when work gets in the way of blogging. But there are others with much more on this and different perspectives: Michelle Malkin, Lucianne, Powerline, Dad29, Protein Wisdom, The Dumb Ox, Sister Toldjah, Flopping Aces, Wide Awake Cafe, Hot Air, Blue Crab Boulevard, Right Wing Nuthouse, Tel-Chai Nation, The Anchoress, 7.62mm Justice, Outside the Beltway
