Only a man of pure heart would do such a thing. I know that, knowing he died saving someone else's sons, doesn't lessen the pain of his death, but at least there was a purpose somewhat in his passing as so often there isn't.. I'm sure that doesn't help much if at all, but there just isn't anything good about death. Once again my heart a goes out to you. My nephew had the distinct pleasure and honor of serving with Michael and was with him on the day he passed. He was a great warrior and a true American hero. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, and also a sincere thanks to them....his actions indirectly saved my nephews life and I will be forever grateful for that. I am glad that there are still real men and real hero's left in this world. God bless you, Mike. I just want to say “Thank you” to a real hero.
