American Fire Power
America is the strongest nation in the world. The United States of America is the only real super-power left in the world.
America has fire power like nobody else. Just look at the U.S.S. Ronald Reagan. She is massive and powerful. I can’t imagine ANYONE would want to met her in battle.
Our weapons are unmatched. Not even close. The B52 Bomber, The Apache Attack helicopter and the M1A1 Tank, just to name a few.
That doesn’t even take into account the mightiest fighting force in the world, the United States Military.
Considering all that fire power and strength, why are our Soldiers and Marines in hand-to-hand combat with Iran, Syria and al-Qaida in Iraq? Why are they operating in neighborhoods that are infested with ‘foreigners’ (Iranians, Syrians and al-Qaida).
We could clean that place out in two weeks maximum.
Can someone explain to me, considering all that fire power and strength, why - WHY - we don’t end this war in VICTORY in a matter of a few weeks?
I’m not just talking about the battle in Iraq - I’m talking about the Global War on Jihadists. A show of strength will bring them all out of the holes they are hiding in.
Considering our history, the population won’t step up to the plate until they know we aren’t going to leave them to the same fate we left the Vietnamese and Cambodians. They hear the leftists, seditionists and protesters carrying on, demanding that we surrender and leave them. They’ve seen us leave before. They believe we’ll leave again. They can’t trust us. How could they?
You can’t win the hearts and minds of the population until you defeat the enemy.
President Bush, stand up to the politicians and seditionists the same way President Lincoln did. Stand up and tell them we will not surrender, we will not half-fight this war. We will fight to win. Tell them we will take the handcuffs off our Troops and let them do what has to be done. Tell them America will be great again, strong again. We will not bow to the will of a bunch of seditionists who don’t have the courage to be loyal to their own country. Tell them that. Tell it to the world and the American people.
They can’t hate you or us any more than they already do. They always have. Whether they like us or not is irrelevant. Let our Troops get the job done and come home in VICTORY.
They have earned it.
They have served and are serving our country well.
Does anyone understand this method of warfare? Does it make any sense to anyone?

I hear you and I agree completely. The fact that this thing has been drawn out all these years is pathetic. As you say, with all this firepower, there is no excuse. Again as you say, you cannot win the hearts and minds of people until you defeat them. And as you say, they already hate us, what are we worried about?
I have said before, unleash the troops and let them DO what they DO best … win wars, defeat enemies, and make America safe.
You do know what the problem is? It’s the ACLU types, who are more afraid of messing up the hair of the enemy by putting panties on his head, than they are about our safety or our troops. These people need to be defeated at the polls.
BSC: Yes, I know who’s behind it. But the president needs to stand up and do what needs to be done. He needs to stand against the defeatism and let our armies do what they need to do. The ACLU types don’t have the stamina to do much but whine and stand-up when there are no consequences for it. Speaking out against America is easy - no consequences. We don’t hang people for treason anymore.

Im sure that someone like you can clear Iraq out in a couple of weeks tops. Unlike your hero bush, who hid behind his daddies money and political influence to cowardly escape service in vietnam, just like everyone else (cheney etc..) in his administration, who are nothing but draft dodgers and cowards - who cowardly attack a true war heros like John Kerry 30 years later.

I also say, let’s do it. Congress is the only entity that can bring defeat upon us. If Congress stands behind our efforts and boldly faces our enemies around the world, including France and Germany, it will change the face of the world. I’m not holding my breath.

BSC: Yes!! It will change the face of the world. Unfortunately, if we don’t it will also change the face of the world - I shudder to think of what would happen without the U.S.A. to face down the enemies of the west. Maybe another country would have to step up to the plate - but I don’t know who would. I wonder if Bush realizes how popular he’d be if he’d quit worrying about the political pressure and start letting the military win. I love the quote!

The United States is being soundly defeated by the lions of the Iraqi Resistance
BSC: The United States is being soundly defeated by the cowardly progressives who are dominating the media and sending a message to the world that we don’t have the will to fight. That and our history from Korea to present of retreating whenever the civilian population gets queasy is a sure recipe for defeat.
The ‘lions of the iraqi resistance’ run whenever they are confronted with American Soldiers. They shoot from afar and plant land mines. They don’t have the courage to face our Soldiers man to man and our government doesn’t have the courage to let our Soldiers do their jobs.
BTW - the ‘lions of iraqi resistance’ don’t exist. We are fighting Iran, Syria and al-Qaida in Iraq. Unfortunately, we aren’t really fighting them. Our Soldiers have their hands tied. Those in Iraq, Iran and anywhere else that wish the United States to lose should hope the politician of this country don’t finally hear the people of the United States and decide to unloose their hands.

I’m not an American,but how i wish i am…I would like to be if have the opportunity…Why??I really love Americans and their strong Military..Americans always stand on their right and prtects the interests of the poor masses..
