Remember ruggedly handsome Mickey Rourke? For some reason he didn’t seem like the type to be so vain that he’d have himself mummified in unsuccessful attempts to maintain his looks. Too bad. I would have thought his looks would have aged well. Instead, he looks like he belongs in a wax museum. Does his skin look raw to you or is it just me?
And what about Kate Jackson? Charlie’s Angel Kate Jackson? Somehow her eyes have gotten slanted and her face is out of kilter.
Of course, there no ‘celebrity bad plastic surgery’ post without including Michael Jackson, Kind of Pop and Bad Plastic Surgery. His forays into plastic surgery have been chronicled throughout his life. He has gone from cute kid to monster-esque adult.

Michael Jackson is, of course, the number one sad story, but Kate Jackson is a close second. She was a gorgeous woman. It is scary to imagine what a person with less money to spend might get trying to “improve” his/her face!
Frankly, I just don’t get it. I guess vanity is stronger that good sense!!! I saw Gary Shandling on TV the other day and he had had some ‘work’ done and he looked ridiculous. As someone said to me the other day, “Common sense is not so common!”

BSC: Good idea!!! I’ve seen all of the ones posted here and at the site I got them from and they all look ridiculous. When the surgery is that obvious, it kinda defeats the purpose of pretending that time isn’t passing. Aging with dignity is very much preferable, imho. Not that I have a problem with a little nip or tuck here or there – but there’s a limit.
Every day and night is Halloween in Hollywood, San Fran Sicko and in the Michael Jackson household! I’m so glad that LA and SF are located on the fault line on the left coast,

If you read the history on Mickey Rourke you will see that he did not have routine plastic surgery….he’s looks are a result of his face being bashed in from his wrestling career…..
Actually, it was boxing. But it’s true–he had his cheek smashed in the boxing ring and his nose broken several times. Mickey Rourke is one of our best actors and is sexy and will win the Oscar. If this country wasn’t so beauty and youth obsessed maybe these actors wouldn’t feel the need to have work done.
Mickey Rourke is the sexiest, most talented actor on the planet. I just saw The Wrestler, and he blows every other major actor out of the water. His ability to shift smoothly from joy, to anger to deep sorrow is a real gift. He is more man than the idiot who posted this comment about his bad plastic surgery.
Mickey Rourke’s surgery is as bad as Michael Jacksons. What a shame! Two nice looking men ruined by their obsession and bad surgeons (Dr. Reed-MJ’s surgeon & Dr.Vitolo-Mickey).
I had sinus surgery when I was 25 and the Dr. added that he could fix the shape of my nose for another $1000. I did not even suggest that I was unhappy with it. I am 39 and look younger and I believe it is because I am not surgically altered, and I do not tan. Be yourself. Mickey Rourke was a God when I was young. He did not get that bad just from boxing.(Yes, My nose was broken once, but looks ok.) I let it heal on its own. Surgery ages you faster, the skin becomes scar tissue which is not elastic. Duh!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, SF and LA are totally different places. LA very fake and superficial. SF the complete opposite. I suggest that you should visit both places and make intelligent comparisons then, because obviously you haven’t been to SF. (FYI, SF despises LA because of Hollywood and superficiality).

…And CAL was the first UC in California and competes with Harvard, Yale, and Stanford…obviously your resentment towards CAL probably means you were rejected after you applied.
