Every where I read there are very enthusiastic reports about the 2007 MilBlog Conference.
The Washington Post has an article this morning covering the conference ….
President George W. Bush — appearing via remote broadcast on two large television screens — on Saturday thanked a roomful of military bloggers in Arlington, Va., for their service to the country.
“America’s military bloggers are also an important voice for the cause of freedom,” Bush said in the taped message to the group, which was gathered in Northern Virginia for the 2007 MilBlog Conference. “You understand that defeating the terrorists requires us to defeat their ideology of hatred and of death with a more powerful vision, a vision of human liberty.”

At Blackfive you can watch a YouTube video of a Gold Star father speaking at the conference. As a Blue Star mother I have a hard time watching Gold Star parents speaking - but that’s my issue. It’s well worth the watch.
Andi at Andi’s World was the driving force behind organizing the event. She has several posts up about the conference and promises more after she catches up on some sleep.

Mary Katherine Ham has coverage in several posts including a YouTube video of the President addressing the conference. The video is via Gateway Pundit who isn’t a Cotillionite and wasn’t wearing a tiara, but who does have many more post covering the conference.
