I always have liked Bruce Willis. I mean John McClane of Diehard fame is one of the best characters in a movie. I have to admit, I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve watched that movie.
There’s his characters in Armageddon and The Fifth Element. He was a fun character in both of those films and on top of that he saved the world both times!!! It doesn’t get better than that! Then there was The Sixth Sense. I had the watch that twice because the ending caught me completely by surprise and I usually figure out the surprise ending before it happens.
Another thing about him is that he seems relatively normal for a movie star. He has that ‘regular guy’ aura about him. You get the feeling he doesn’t take himself too seriously and that he hasn’t forgotten that being rich and famous doesn’t make him smarter or better than the rest of us. I could be wrong about all of that of course, but that’s the way he comes across.
The thing I like most about him is that he seems like a patriotic American. He doesn’t seem to buy in to the hollywood ‘you have to act like you like France better than America or you just aren’t informed’ way of behaving. In fact, I heard that he tried to join the service when the Global War on Terrorism started, but he was told he was too old.
He bought a truck load of girl scout cookies and sent them to the troops. Maybe more, I don’t remember, but it was a lot.
Well, that’s not really the point of this post. The point is he’s been online chatting away in chat rooms. Here’s a screenshot. Look at the other guys face! lol

So, Bruce, come on over and visit the blogs.

I was an instant fan from when he was on Moonlighting…

Oh yeah! Moonlighting was good! @>-
Bruce went to Pensgrove High School in the early 70’s. His family is still in the South Jersey area. His Red Devils used to beat us parochial punks up in most sport competitions! Yes - he’s a conservative guy and a great actor - not a Hollyweirdo!
Dummy Moore had a good thing going until she blew it.
Wow, I love Bruce Willis. Can’t wait to see his new movie. After he visits you here, Beth, send him over to Right Truth. Hubby and I will make him feel right at home, heh
