Paris Hilton has been ordered back to jail following her surprising release from jail yesterday.
Apparently, when the judge remanded her back to jail she had to be dragged out of the court while she was crying, screaming and begging for her mother. So much for the grace and dignity she exhibited prior to her incarceration a few days ago.
Obviously, this ruse had been planned prior to her incarceration. She knew she was going to have to do five days (3 days and 2 wake ups) and then she could ‘be sick’ and her family’s psychiatrist would come over and tell the sheriff she was unable to do her time and he’d release her. I’m sure a lot of money was spent on that plan.
The general idea is if we get her out of jail before the judge and district attorney know it, it will be done. It won’t matter how mad they are, they won’t be able to do anything about it.
Wrong.
They were mad, but there was something they could do about it. And they HAVE done something about it.
I’ve heard people saying that it’s an exorbitant amount of time to do for driving on a suspended license. That’s not the issue. She lost her license, then drove on a suspended license, then violated her probation, then showed up late for court, and now has manipulated the system with money and power to get out of her consequences. Every time she has completely ignored or actively tried to maneuver around her consequences, the consequences have gotten more severe.
I wrote in my last post about her that she’d end up doing more time. Now she is looking at doing every minute of her original sentence, whereas if she’d stayed in jail she’d already be half-way through her sentence because they would have probably let her out after 12 days.
When Paris was putting on her show prior to the last time she went to jail she said she was going to use the time for self-reflection and hoped it’d be a lesson to other young people. I think it is now a lesson to other young people. If you obey the law you don’t have to go to jail. When you do have to go to jail, take your consequences or it gets worse.
This is what happens when you never teach your child to take responsibility for their behavior or that there are consequences to behavior. They expect to get out of and around everything in life.
Eventually, society has to teach them that there are consequences. It’s much harder to learn that lesson as an adult than it is to learn it from loving parents.
Good luck Paris. You are going to do your time and hopefully you’ll learn something about being a responsible citizen. Hopefully, you will mature a little and learn a little about being a grown-up. Hopefully, you’ll become a stronger person by being able to function outside of your comfort zone for a few days. Hopefully.

CalTech Girl tells her to suck it up. You play, you pay!
Southern Sass on Crime blames Paris’ parents (I agree!)
I am furious at her parents. With all the money, potential, education this child had available, look what they’ve done. And I do see PH as a child. She was raised without basic coping/living skills, and was never taught anything other than she is rich, powerful and can do nothing wrong. What else was she supposed to think ?
Right Celebrity wonders if going to court in her sweats was a Michael Jackson move. I think, yes it was. How pitiful can she make herself? Pretty pitiful.
And by the way Paris sweetie, going to court in your sweat pants and sweatshirt isn’t the best way to stay in the judge’s good graces. Are you trying to play the courthouse invalid as Michael Jackson did?

Hot Air has the Shep Smith snark video. Shep doesn’t seem happy to be giving this story wall-to-wall coverage. ‘Is this what we’ve come to?’, he asks.
A Lovely Infidel is discussing the over-the-top coverage and wonders if there is other news today - why yes there is! Go see what it is.

Get over it you big baby. DO YOUR TIME and quit being a big titty baby…
You were wrong and you are no one special. only to your “mommy”
I hope you straighten out in jail and realize how good you have it. LEARN you big ass titty baby, that MONEY does not but everything! GROW UP and take responsibility for your stupid actions. YOUR LUCKY no one was killed when you were driving DUI. My grandparents were BOTH killed by some yahoo’s at the same time and my only consulation is they have to live with it. Actually I feel sorry for her. If she hadn’t been a celebrity, she’d probably never been sentenced to jail anyway.
One And Only Paris Post…
A picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes, people get what they deserve. Thank you for upholding the law, Judge Sauer. And that is not meant to be a dig at Paris, or anything negative. There should be one law for everyone. Period.
You can rea…
Thank you, Beth.
so that’s what you get for being a celebrity.. B-)
You’ll have to forgive me, but, what picture is that? I’ve yet to actually see the video. I listened to all of the commentary on it of XM Radio’s Fox News Channel. BTW, great take on the broad.
