Taking a look at what’s going on from my blogroll ….

People are always asking me what they can put into packages for our fighting men and women in Iraq. I generally tell them the things my son has told me. Magazines, NO CHOCOLATE (it doesn’t survive the heat in transit), lip balm, sunscreen, lotion, etc.

I was over at Lubbock Marine Parents and they have a great article up with detailed instructions on making ‘cool ties‘ to send the Marines (Soldiers). What a great thing to include in packages for the summer. The heat there is suffocating and the cool ties would give our guys great relief. Go here to get the instructions.

While you are there, check out the Marine Articles of Code of Conduct. My father was a Marine, reading this code makes me proud.

Theodore’s World has an article about China secretly arming terrorists fighting our troops in Iraq. Lets see, that makes China AND Russia supplying Iran. This is very bad.

Notice that Iran’s strongest allies are all Communist dictatorships (Russia, Venezuela, North Korea). And to think, Komrade Herr Klintoon traded them military technology for campaign funds. And the Bushies apologized to China after they shot down our plane. Shouldn’t it be vice versa? (And we never got the plane back, either.) And they have allowed Chinese military officials to board U.S. naval ships.

I really think they would just kill each other. They have so many different sects that are certain it is their destiny to rule the world. If we could keep nukes out of their hands we’d have nothing to worry about.
