Michael Moore has at Wolf Blitzer, CNN and the Main Stream Media
His frustration got dumped all over Wolf Blitzer when Moore was on The Situation Room yesterday. In an 11-minute rant Moore attacked Blitzer, CNN and the main stream media as a whole for lying to the people of the United States about everything from health care to the war on islamic ideologies.
The author/producer/director of such crocumentary pieces as Fahrenheit 9/11, Bowling for Columbine and Stupid White Men accused the main stream media of ‘fudging facts’, misrepresenting evidence, being irresponsible in their reporting and bias.
I’m sorry. I’m laughing so hard just typing this I can hardly see the computer screen for the tears in my eyes!
Okay, you can read what the media is writing about this while I compose myself.
Moore had been invited onto the program to counter a report made by CNN’s chief medical correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, which pointed out alleged false information and statistics in “Sicko,” which takes aim at the U.S. healthcare system.
Moore blasted, “That report was so biased, I can’t imagine which pharmaceutical company ad is coming up right after our break.
“All the statistics show that we have far worse healthcare than these other industrialized countries. We’re the only ones that don’t have it free and universal.”
Moore also accused the network of covering up the truth about the American healthcare system and the country’s military involvement in Iraq.
He said, “You’re the ones who are fudging the facts. You’ve fudged the facts to the American people now for I don’t know how long about this issue, about the war.
“And I’m just curious, when are you gonna just stand there and apologize to the American people for not bringing the truth to them that isn’t sponsored by some major corporation?”
It seems that Hillary Clinton got up and walked out of a special viewing of the movie during a part in which Moore accused her of selling out to special interest rather than pushing through her plan for socialized medicine while she and her husband were in office.
The lunatic left has some success in pushing some people out of their party who did not march in lockstep with their views, primarily in regards to the war against islamic ideologies. Most notably was their treatment of Joe Lieberman when he refused to sell out to get the approval of the lunatic left. They turned on him like a pack of rabid wolves. To his credit, he took it with dignity, remained faithful to his beliefs and beat the slop out of the anointed democratic candidate set up to run against him. He returned to the Senate as an independent. That had to chaff.
Then John ‘Breck Boy’ Edwards courted the lunatic left with a vengeance, even hiring some of the most virulent of them as his official bloggers. That didn’t work very well because contrary to what we are constantly told in the main stream media, most people don’t really believe the kind of stuff they churn out to us daily.
Most recently we see Peace Mother Sheehan threatening Nancy Pelosi if she doesn’t comply with the demands of that part of the democratic party. The fact that Nancy Pelosi isn’t far enough to the left for them is very telling as to HOW far to the left they really are.
Oh me. It’s just the gift that keeps on giving. They seem to believe their own propaganda. Their demands get more and more outrageous and they are obviously losing control.
As far as the democratic party is concerned, the lunatics are in charge of the asylum.

To hear Gupta imply that Moore hid the fact that Cuba was ranked 39th when Gupta knew that CNN’s screen banner hid Moore’s disclosure of Cuba’s standing can only be described as total dishonesty. I was shocked to watch Gupta accuse Michael of fudging numbers by relying upon 2007 Bush administration U.S. Dept. of Health data instead of Gupta’s 2004 World Health Organization figures. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a Wolf Blitzer Situation Room hatchet job such as this, and so naked too. Apologies are in order or I’m afraid my years of program loyalty are at end. I can’t imagine why Wolf and Gupta felt it necessary to destroy our trust in them as quality news sources?

I commend Michael Moore for standing up and trying to make a difference where a HUGE difference is needed. Write your ridicule and continue to stay ignorant, programmed, dependent, sick and asleep. De Nile is a river in Egypt. Deny it is all going on; have no compassion for people who are genuinely in need of care and are not getting it or can not get it because of this “system” the United States has; write blogs making fun of someone who is trying to make a difference; etc……….sounds like a full blown, self absorbed, limited human to me….better stated–An American
