John McCainIn spite of the best efforts of The Posturing Harry Reid (D-NV) and his Merry Men, the results of the Senate vote today were exactly the same as they were prior to the spend the night party last night.

Interestingly, the dems put on a big show to get all the attention they can for their efforts to get out of Iraq and at the same time they vote unanimously that Iraq can not become a safe haven for terrorists. This just highlights that this all night shindig was just a publicity stunt.

Barack Obama seems confused, “I think it is very important for us … to recognize that none of us are interested in dictating military strategy to the president but rather to set a mission for the military.” He then turned around and voted for the United States to immediately surrender to terrorism.

I’m not sure it really matters to the dems. Reid was pretty open about what he really expected to accomplish. He said, “I would hope that these past two days have shined a bright light on how important our work here is in the Senate.”

Really Reid? Is that what all this grandstanding was about? Are you only about showing how important YOU are? I thought you said this was about your concern about the Troops.

There’s a word for that Harry - it’s called narcissism.
