Ellen DeGeneresThe story goes something like this. Ellen DeGeneres adopted a homeless pooch from some pet adoption agency. The dog, named Iggy, didn’t get along with her cats so she found another home for the dog. She gave the dog to her hair dresser who has at 12-year-old and a 13-year-old.

The dog adoption agency didn’t like that one little bit. They said Ellen had violated her ‘contract’ with them by giving the dog to another family. Apparently, she was supposed to get their permission before finding a loving home for the previously abandoned dog. So the animal adoption agency went and literally tore the dog out of the arms of the sobbing 12-year-old girl who had become attached to the dog.

From abandoned dog to beloved pet back to abandoned dog again because Ellen dared to find a loving home for it. How dare she? Who does she think she is!

Well, since then the pet adoption agency has defended their actions by attacking Ellen for not telling them she was giving the dog again. They are just indignant about it. So much for the well-being of a poor abandoned dog and the feelings of a little girl! Their pride is hurt and now they have to defend their actions so forget everything else. They are practically painting Ellen as a monster who would do something so horrible to a poor dog as find it a loving home.

I guess Ellen is going to address this issue on her show tomorrow. Word is she has taped her segment and is tearful in her talk about the dog. She wants the adoption agency to return the dog to 12-year-old Ruby and quit being such snots about the whole thing.

Isn’t this just a case of good intentions getting lost in a tidal wave of misguided egos!

Here’s a short video of Ellen on her private plane, just in case you ever wanted to see what it was like on her private plane. It doesn’t have anything to do with this story, but I saw it on YouTube so here it is ….
