Former President Clinton dreams a little dream while attending the service at the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in Harlem today. The New York Post had a good time with this video.
January 21, 2008 — Bill Clinton showed yesterday why he made it into the book “The Art of Napping.”
During an appearance at the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in Harlem, the former president was caught nodding off.
Clinton was there during a service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while his wife was nearby at Abyssinian Baptist Church, where she was endorsed by its minister, Rev. Calvin Butts.
Clinton has had napping episodes before. Among others, he nodded off at a Mets game and at Ronald Reagan’s funeral.

LOVE your title. Notice how he tries to make it look like he’s agreeing by nodding when he realizes he fell asleep.
Who could blame him! Did you listen to the speaker? Oh my goodness! I am often amazed at the gall of people who expect others to take the time and effort to listen to them drone on and on with no effort to make what they are saying interesting and relevant to the listeners.
That last comment sent itself while I was trying to edit. The last sentence should say “…effort to listen while the speaker makes little effort to speak in an engaging manner.” This guy needs some public speaking training — he’s better than a sleeping pill.
Great clip! From “I have a dream” to “I wanna dream”!
