Wow! Did you listen to that? Every since the first time I heard Michelle Obama speak I thought she sounded like an angry and domineering woman. I wondered what she had to be so angry about? She’s certainly, by all appearances, has had more opportunities than I’ve had and she most certainly has more material wealth than I have. So what is she so angry about? I still don’t know why she’s so angry, but every time I’ve heard her speak since then I’ve been more convinced that she’s angry and negative.
And now this ….
“For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am proud of my country … because people are hungry for change.â€
Barack Obama’s response to this is that its no big deal. Maybe that’s why Barack Obama felt he could ignore the National Anthem and refuses to wear an American Flag lapel pin.

Nothing America has done in Michelle Obama’s adult life, which at 44 goes back 26 years to 1982, has made her proud of her country? Nothing? Not winning the Cold War? Not our regular and orderly transitions of power based on the rule of law? Not the fact that we feed and defend the world, not that we lead in science and technology research, not that we elected the first black president in 1992…nothing? Not the fact that she and her husband were able to go to Ivy League schools before embarking on extremely lucrative careers? Not the fact that we help out in disasters wherever they strike in the world? Nothing has made Michelle Obama proud of her country in her entire adult life?
Do we really want a First Lady who doesn’t even like our country?

Michelle Obama is very much a black woman who is very strong, intelligent, and controllling. I believe that she will definitely have a
very strong influence if Barack Obama wins. I think she is stronger in her opinions than he is.
Barack Obama is very dismissive when challenged. “Everthing is no big deal to him” I wonder what he would teach his daughters about plagiarism. Just because someone goes to Columbia, Harvard etc doesn’t mean they don’t plagiarize, they just bring plagiraism to an art and act insulted when anyone challenges then After all, they may have written tow books. So what.

As a Veteran, I was ready to defend our freedoms at any cost. Even my own life. To hear Michelle Obama say that this is the first she has been proud of our country, makes me sick. It’s been said. Nothing will change my out look on her or her husband now.
If she can’t be proud of our country then she is free to leave it and find one she can be proud of.

I can understand why Michael Obama said something like that, 30 years ago when I was at the college, I met a Japanes girl who came to US when she was 13 years old (at that time she was about 21), she spoke perfectly English, but I was very surprised when I heard her saying that she wish that she doesn’t have to speak Englsh, she getting tired of the language…….I saw she was treated very nice because she spoke like the citizens here, but me who was not treated very good with my accent
I never felt like her. I like this country regardless of how I was treated by some bad people.
Anyway, my point is, when I heard the story about Michael Obama last night, I think about this young girl from Japan and what she told me then, you and me might be surprised that those people never feel that they are an American because of their origin, but these are the true story.
I am sorry that I have to get Japanese person to involve with this story but this is only from one incident and I don’t intend to make anything bad about Japanese or anything, I only try to make my point that Michael Obama reminds me of this young girl I met 30 years ago.
With all the education that media professionals have, I would think they would be smart enough to tell the difference in a negative comment and an encouraging one. You can’t take part of a statement and “make it” mean the same thing as the whole statement; that is what is called a “misquote!” Is it that the news professional are so anxious to “get something” on the Obama’s that they will just do anything to stir things up. (how pathetic) I understand Mrs. Obama’s comment to mean that she is proud of the direction we as a nation are moving at this point in history. What she has seen in her travels during the campaign has encouraged her to think people finally realizing we are all Americans. Stop being intimidated because there are minorities with sense in America. The Obamas are Americans too. Be proud of them and stop being so petty!
