I suspect that for Japanese Astronaut Koichi Wakata, a good meal, a hot shower, and clean clothes never sounded so good! After circling Earth 2,208 times, speeding more than 57 million miles in orbit and avoiding near misses with flying space junk, it could be Koichi Wakata’s astronaut underwear that makes him famous!

Did you know the waiting time to see a doctor in Massachusettes is the worst of all the states in the country? In fact, 20% of the residents in the state can’t find a doctor to care for them! This is under Romneycare which some are saying the democrats are using to morph Obamacare into in hopes of getting the stupid thing passed! Read more below, see photos, and watch a great video.

Control costs by denying or rationing care. That’s a big fear of universal health care and a surety is Obamacare passes. The democrats’ healthcare plan which has lost voter support is now being re-tooled so that Obamacare is Romneycare, which is now operating in Massachusetts. The only problem with that is that Romneycare is not so hot.

The New York homeless get plane tickets to Paris, or San Juan or any number of other destinations. The point is to just get them out of New York City and off the welfare dole. Read about it below and see a video.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has come up with an innovative plan to rid New York City of its homeless problem. Its what we used to call this ‘turfing’ when I worked in hospitals. When no one could come up with any place to send a patient, some hospitals would just ‘turf’ them over to another hospital. You see, in spite of what we are being told, hospitals are required to serve indigent patients and can’t (at least used to couldn’t) just put them out on the street with no where to go. Of course, now that there is more government intervention, the concern about just putting patients out on the street is less and we’ll undoubtedly see more of that as government takes over health care. Anyway, apparently New York is ‘turfing’ their homeless to other places.

Do you like political/news satire set to music and video? If you do, I bet you’ll love Michael Gregory’s latest “Auto-Tune the News”! Read more below, see a photo and the awesome new video.

Auto-Tuning is a computer software program used by musicians — like Cher or R. Kelly — to simulate perfect pitch with an urban radio sound. Michael Gregory, who’s only 24 years old, recruited family members and a green screen (the kind weathermen use to place images one top of each other like when doing forecasts) to produce 6 really funny Auto-Tune videos which have gone viral and viewed 6 million times on You Tube. You can watch the latest one called, “Sarah Palin Quits! Auto-Tune The News” below the fold.

Get ready because no one is spared. Making a video appearance are: A sing-songy Michele Bachmann invoking “liberty or tyranny” on the House floor; a repetitive Nancy Pelosi singing “Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Let’s vote for jobs!”; an indignant John Boehner “Hell no!”; Sarah Palin making her resignation speech; and former Michael Jackson lawyer Brian Oxman, in lyrics like “You know it’s unconstitutional to take away my God-given pharmaceuticals.” It’s a riot!

And the cool thing is, Michael Gregory and his team don’t take much editorial license with what they cover; they simply take what is in the news and make it funny. I know if I were on Capital Hill and one of the ‘stars’ of “Sarah Palin Quits: Auto-Tune the News!” video, I would pass it around, laughing my fool head off.

Lucia Whalen is the woman who dialed 911 to report a possible break-in at the home of black Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. For that ‘Good Samaritan’ action, she was scorned, mocked and vilified as a racist. The truth is, she is intricatedly tied to the three men – Barack Obama, Professor Gates, and Sgt. Crowley of the Campbridge, Massachusettes Police – and their saga on racism that played out this week. They got a tour of the White House and a Beer Summit with the President. Yet for Lucia Whalen? No Beer Summit. The 911 Caller Was Not Invited.

It’s amazing what kids will do to skip church! Watch this ’7 Year Old Steals Car’ Video below. It’s really pretty amazing!

It all started because a young boy didn’t want to go to church. So instead of playing sick like most of us did when we were young, he decided to steal the family car resulting in a 40 mph car chase that ended when the kid returned the car to his parents’ driveway and hid inside his house! The result? An incredible ’7 YO Steals Car’ Video recorded by the police car dash cam.

Deloris Nissen: Sell TVs, Avoid Obama

Deloris Nissen, 78, of Carroll, Iowa is so upset with Obama on TV constantly that she decided to sell both of her TV’s. Read more about her frustration below.

Being a senior citizen myself, I can certainly appreciate Deloris Nissen’s anger at having to see Barack Hussein Obama on television almost 24/7. Ms. Nissen used to work at K-Mart and is now a retired nurses aide who has taken offense to having her TV shows consumed by the Barack Obama – all – the – time networks. She decided to get rid of her TV’s and placed a $5.50 ad in this Friday’s Daily Times Herald. In her ad she states “Obama on every channel and station” as the reason for the sale.

Deloris Nissen said this in an interview:

“I just got tired of watching him on every channel, I thought, my gosh, does he ever stay at the White House?”
