Check out these fantastic new images from the Hubble telescopes. Just Wow!
Back in May I wrote about the final Hubble mission, refurbishing the Hubble instruments and overall repairs and upgrades on the Hubble telescope. Now, we are seeing the results of that mission. The most intense, clear, sharpest and detailed pictures yet of deep space.
One of the things the last mission accomplished was installing a new camera that is supposed to be ten times better than the previous camera. The Hubble is capable of taking pictures of billions of stars six million light-years into space.
I have just a sampling of the photos here, you can see more at the Hubble website. Here are pictures of NGC 6302, Omega Centauri, Stephans Quintet and Carina Nebula.
The images are just spectacular. Don’t you think?

That is just SO cool!
Beth my daughter loves astronomy. The butterfly picture blew her little mind. It’s simply beautiful.
Thanks, Beth. Cool pics.
Keep up the good work (on all fronts).
