Have you seen the Dallas Tea Party, Keith Olbermann diversity challenge. The Dallas Tea Party released a video yesterday in response to MSNBC’s Olbermann’s statements that the Tea Party didn’t have a diverse membership. You can see the video below.
Its not uncommon for the liberal host of ‘Countdown with Keith Olbermann’ to make outrageous, idiotic and self-righteous statements about anyone or anything that doesn’t walk in lock-step with his views. Those views are, of course, the same views of anyone who is accepted by the far left of this country. The reason for that is if you don’t have the same views, you aren’t a part of their inner-circle. You see the irony of the left’s claim to having a corner on diversity? They have none.
Olbermann has attacked the Tea Party movement by asking question to his very small audience like, ‘Let me ask all of you who attend these things, how many black faces do you see at these events?’ and ‘Why are you surrounded by largest crowd you will ever again see in your life that consists of nothing but people who look exactly like you?’
In the video below, the Dallas Tea Party called Olbermann out on his comments and questions. They deliver a smack down and invite Olbermann to get out of his ‘bubble’ and come on out to a Tea Party gathering so he can see it for himself. Maybe if he shows up, then he’ll be able to do a report on his show in which he actually has a clue of what he’s talking about.
Dallas Tea Party, Keith Olbermann Diversity Challenge (Video)
What’s the difference nobody watches that network anyway.
You people aren’t just r***ts!
Your idiots with a ten cent idealogy.
Where’s your next boogeyman?
All the while you empowered the likes of Chaney/bush and Rove.
Where was your little tea-baggin’ party during that eight years of Big Government and corporate entitlement??
All of you will die bitter, ignorant, and ALONE!
Educate yourselves with real facts, not with dribble that fits your right-wing, xenophobic, jingoistic mentality.
The tea baggers are old, shriveled and mostly brainwashed people…they smell of adult-diapers and have the depth of Sarah Palin (which is equivalent to high school senior at best)
You Tea-baggers are about as idiotic as anyone. You don’t really know what you’re for or against. Anyone that thinks Palin should be President is as much of an idiot as she is.
Tea-baggers = idiot.
How ironic that you would call a group “idiots” all the while spelling “you’re” wrong. Too funny.
You got all caught up in trying to be pedantic and end up looking like the fool.
Dingus, most of us were hoping that the change Obama kept harping on was real. When we saw that he was worse even than Bush/Chaney, even we, generally peaceful, quiet folks have finally gotten fed up. We are not impressed with either the democrats (who house the “progressives” nor the republicans (who, despite having espoused values that we like, are almost equally to blame.) Note that as far as the deficit goes, Obama’s wanderings have cost us in one year far more than Bush did during his whole time in office!
Miss me yet?
I watch both Fox and MSNBC. I follow the news from OUTSIDE the U.S.A. because we have been under a news blackout for over 25 years. The “Tea Party” is funded and controlled by the multinational corporations. Anyone who buys their drivel is an uninformed person. In my opinion, taxes are necessary. The real problem is the Courts and the Congress. How so? In the late 70′s, Congress started using our Social Security in the general fund. The Supreme Court did not attempt to check this blatent abuse of public trust. Want to stop the problem? Call your Rep’s and Senators and demand they stop stealing our retirement. Also never vote for any Republican or Democrat because they are SOCIALIST(Facist;Marxist in order) Vote for an Independent such as Ron Paul. Unlike 90% of our rep’s he IS NOT bought and payed for by a loobbyist. All informed comments welcomed at timberman777@hotmail.com
LOL,
One thing?
Olbermann call the movement “The Teabaggers”
does that mean he’s the one getting ‘teabagged’? think about it!
Many people having completely different views can and do call themselves a “Tea Party Member” unfortunately that is the main problem with the open membership its self. I believe orignally there was a real need on the political scene for such a group to be able to voice there opposing opinions to various government programs. However, with so many of the Tea Party members loudly and unintelligently espousing false statements along with many members openly carrying guns and offensive derogatory signs, while screaming their personal agendas before the news media, most of which contains total B/S opposition to any and all programs , has done nothing but ruin what may have been a good chance for the real Tea Party Members to get their voices heard on certain purposed government reform being put forth for consideration by the Obama administration. Without a doubt, Keith Obermann is a very outspoken member of the media, however, that is what he gets paid to do, whether it concerns Tea Party reporting or Dick Cheney bashing, it his stik and he does it well.
I am proud to be one of those “left-wing” progressive liberals you refer to! Where was your outrage when the Bushies were selling this country down the river to Wall Street and allowing more than 4000 American soldiers to die in vain in Iraq? Where were you then? Bush, Cheney and Rove destroyed this country! Keith Olbermann puts some sanity back into politics, it is about time you neocons did the same. Conservatives make me sick, you think that this country is made for white, anglo-saxon protestants. You deny evolution, question our Presidents citizenship and believe that our country would survive without taxes, what planet are you living on? How small a government can you have for 300 million people? You continue to believe that small government and low taxes are the answer to all our problems, what is wrong with you? And by the way, if you neocons continue to believe that social security and medicare are such bad things, then you better donate your benefits to those who really want it and tell your parents and grandparents that they are “socialists” if they take advantage of those benefits. I bet you also want segregation back, those were the good old days weren’t they??????????????????
Dingus: Nice constructive rant. Evidently you were too angry to properly complete your thesaurus tour.
Your idiots? Whose idiots? Did you mean You’re?
Dribble? Who brought Marcus Haynes to show us how? You dribble a basketball.
Otherwise, great generalization. Olbermann has taught you well.
So did he show or not?
So happy to finally see a left a center media entity like MSN.com finally call out Olbermann for what he really is, a left wing loony that is so out of step with this country that he is laughable. The guy has fewer viewers than Mork and Mindy reruns on TBS. Even the left cringes when this goof comes out with some of his rants.
Look, I’m a center-left watcher of NBC. And insulting people will not change the fact that both the Tea Party crew AND the MSNBC lineup both look like Klan meetings.
What’s the difference? The Tea Partiers are not loathe to admit it while the “educate yourselves” liberals throw salt and refuse to acknowledge how effin rac*st you really are. You both are the devil.
And before you get started about how I am not “educated” and don’t know as much as you about minorites, etc, please keep the following in mind.
*I am an Ivy League alum
*I have a Ph.D
*I am female
*I am Black
Both sides need to self-examine. Especially the liberals. Now go self-examine and get back to us–both of you–with a little less rac*sm.
Ciao for now.

Obviously Olberman is pointing out something that his inner circle does not also have – that is “diversity.” Of course, it’s always true that “birds of the same feather flock together.”
