Al Gore, Laurie David Affair? (Photos)

Is an affair between Al Gore and Laurie David the reason for the sudden announcement that Al and Tipper Gore were divorcing after 40-years of marriage? According to rumors, it is. Read about it below and see some photos and a video of Al Gore’s alleged love interest, Laurie David.

It seems that things in the world of Global Warming have been heating up in more ways than one. ‘Star’ magazine is reporting the ‘other woman’ in the Al and Tipper Gore divorce is Laurie David. She is the former wife if comedian Larry David, who created the hit show ‘Seinfeld’ and stars in ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’.

It makes perfect sense really. The two are a match made in heaven (check out the video below). They are both avid environmentalists who have worked closely together over the years in pursuit of the mutual passion for cleaning up the environment. Not to mention, they look sort of alike, don’t you think? Most notably, she co-produced Al Gore’s Oscar-winning documentary, ‘An Inconvenient Truth’.

The Davids divorced in 2007. At the time there were rumors that Laurie David was having an affair with the caretaker of the couple’s Martha’s Vineyard summer estate. The Gores announced their intent to divorce a couple of weeks ago. In those two weeks there have been rumors that Gore was having a gay affair and/or that Tipper was unreasonably jealous of her husband and the women in her life. There has been no proof of Al Gore having an affair.

According to ‘Star’, the two went from ‘friends to lovers’ sometime in 2007 and ‘it just couldn’t be avoided’. The issue of ‘Star’ making these allegations is the June 28 issue that will go on sale tomorrow.

Friends of the Gores adamantly deny that Al Gore has had an affair with anyone and laugh off the latest rumors of an Al Gore, Laurie David affair.
