The end of the world is coming on December 21, 2012. Years ago that was in the far distant future. Now its right around the corner. Many end of the world theories predict the end in 2010. Nostradamus, the most famous medieval prophet, hid many of his manuscripts and predictions because at the time they were considered blasphemous and controversial. Therefore, even 500 years after his death, ‘new’ Nostradamus prophecies are being discovered. Obviously they are not technically ‘new’, but they had been previously hidden. A previously unknown book of Nostradamus’ prophesies was found a couple of years ago in the National Library and it contains his end of the world theories, or more accurately his end of the world prophesies. The History Channel has aired a new show focusing on his predictions about 2012. The show, The Lost Book of Nostradamus, premiered on January 4, 2009. A video about the show is included here.
Its a little disconcerting in light of the fact that several independent ancient sources have predicted the world will end on December 21, 2012. Now we can add Nostradamus to the list of predictions for that date. In fact, he notes that the odds of these various groups predicting the same events for the same date could not be mere coincidence.

In addition to having this revelation from Nostradamus, we have the relatively recent revelation from NASA scientists that we can expect major solar storms that will disrupt the magnetic fields on Earth and create chaotic disruptions on Earth. NASA predicts these unprecedented solar storms will occur in …. your guessed it …. 2012. In fact, we are already seeing the solar storms.
Of course, we all know that the advanced civilization of the Mayans ended their calendar on December 21, 2012. We recently reported that the Dutch are preparing for a 2012 apocalypse. They seem mostly upset that The Netherlands seems to be sinking into the ocean.
I realize that we’ve had many warnings of the end of the world before. We all remember cults that have sat and waited for space ships to come pick them up before destroying the Earth, or committing mass suicide in preparation for the apocalypse. Then there was all the dire warnings about Y2K. They say that happens at every turn of a millennium, although I don’t know how anyone would know that. All of these stories make any of these prophesies a little hard to get too excited about.
Still, one keeps coming back to the words of Nostradamus. Can it be a coincidence when different civilizations on different continents in different times came up with the same date? Its not like they could text each other or read it on the internet. They came up with the predictions of doom and gloom in 2012 complete independently of one another.
I think I’ll plan a big party for December 22, 2012, the day after Winter Solstice 2012. If we are still around then, it’ll be a big celebration. If not, then it won’t really make any difference.

It is’t going to matter when the doomsday event occurs as we’ll as be toast if it’s by solar storms.The world is not going to end by God’s hand but my the craziness of human beings.The Christian churches preach about God sending Jesus down and taking the believers with him to heaven for eternity so that their coffers will remain full.

The Bible also states not even the angels in heaven will know the day or the hour that the Lord cometh so since I am a believer of God’s word I do not think that these predictions are correct. There may be some type of a solar change but not the end of the world. I do believe that God is setting up a time in the near future but many things must occur first. People better be ready spiritually for the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Christ for He will return in the twinkling of an eye and then it will be too late.
Well I wish Jesus would finally get here. So far it has been over 2000 years. What is taking so long?
I believe in God, I believe that mankind was Created by an almighty entity whom to me is God. I believe that we may in fact be living the book of revelations from the bible. I believe that if something does happen in 2012 that it may not be the end of the world, yet many people may die from what may happen. That whatever does happen is another prophecy being fulfilled before the return of the Son of God, the bible also speaks of many things that will happen about the stars and earth, and I do believe the mark of the beast is coming, I know I am a sinner and fall short, yet I pray for help, forgiveness, and strength to do better. I see so much evil in our world, I see what men do to each other, what our state government does to people, and I see what our federal government does to people, I feel a lot of it is for money, greed, and power, who is going to control, I don’t know why human beings are so cruel, I don’t know why God has allowed such cruelty or greed to go so far, I only know that I pray and hope God has forgiven me for anything I have done wrong in his eyes, that God allows me to enter the Kingdom of God when the time comes.

You all need to understansd something. The bible preaches the end of days, but you must understand that when the bible was written, it was written for kings who wanted to scare people into devoting loyalty to their king who vowed to protect them from all harm.
Harold Camping and Nostradamus are nothing more than false prophets who scamed a lot of people out of their faith, beliefs, trust, money and ability to think for themselves.
I hope that this proves, once and for all, that every day should be lived to its fullest and that you all should stop worying about what could be and focus on what actually is. The future is NOT written. Our fates and destinies are ours to make…. GOD gave that right to us in the form of “FREE WILL”. Our destinies our what we make of them. Our Fate is what WE make. Don’t let others decide fate or destiny for you.

the predictions werent about the kindom of heaven,either islam or christian,they were predictions over humanity course over centuries ,an events that could happen,,,i believe jesus christ was a great profiet,an not god,as mohammand was,as i also believe many of the biblical books were edited or left,protraying christ as a man,humanity isnt as helpless as it was 2000 yrs ago,we can save our self against what happen to the dinosours,but a solor flare is probably different

I am sorry to be so blunt, but the amount of anxiety people are suffering, from reading and hearing predictions of the end of the world astounds me. Nostradamus made thousands of predictions that can be interpreted many ways. If I make the same amount of predictions, maybe I can fluke a couple of gullible minds into believing whatever is in the back of their minds at that point in time. My point being, you can read anything into virtually anything. Enough of all this dribble. The world is going through changes as it has done for millions of years.
