William Ayers

That picture is of Barack Obama’s friend William Ayers. Isn’t it just precious? This is a grown man who thinks that its cute to stomp around on an American Flag to prove he’s a big bad anti-American. He’s so brave.

I’m sure you know by now, that William Ayers is an unrepentant terrorists, traitor and overall child-like 60s hippie who never grew up. He claims to Marxist political beliefs. He served time for bombings against American interests within our country. He is now expecting to make a fortune off writing his memoirs about his hatred of the country that has protected him and made him a rich man. I would have more respect for him if he had the guts to pull those kinds of stunts against a government that puts people like …. away.

He’s stomping on the symbol that Barack Obama said didn’t have anything to do with Patriotism. However, I think most of us think that it does have something to do with patriotism. Symbols do matter, just as words matter. They matter because they represent something we believe in. We swear on the Bible when we go to court because the Bible represents the importance of integrity. We salute our flag because it represents our allegiance to our country. Symbols do matter.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that it doesn’t matter what Barack Obama’s friends and associates say and do. Those people say that all that matters is what Obama says and does. There’s a problem with that line of logic. The problem is that we aren’t just talking about a random person who is Obama knew. Many of these people are close associates who have had a great deal of influence on him. I think that is especially true of his pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Obama’s career has been assisted by many of these people. Donations have been made to his campaign. And, most concerning, favors are owed to these people.

The pattern of relationships we are seeing is alarming. These relationships do not have to do with racial identity as much as they have to do with the common general life philosophy shared by these people. As we see one of these friendships after the other become public we see a real common thread. The common thread is the extreme leftist part of the country which holds our country in complete contempt. That explains the friendships, the statements made by Obama’s wife that were so offensive, and his refusal to salute the flag or wear a flag lapel pin.

Obama is friends with many people who aspire to turn our country into a communist regime. He speaks in the same verbiage of Marx and espouses many of the same beliefs. Obama, like his friend William Ayers, is a far-left wing white liberal. Nothing more, nothing less.

Despite Howard Dean, Democratic National Committee Chairman and Overall Jackass, officially stating the democrats would not use John McCain’s age as an issue in the presidential race, they are. Of course, we know that Howard Dean has almost no credibility with anyone and certainly doesn’t have any control over the democratic party … but still. He really should quit making statements because when everyone ignores him and does whatever they want anyway it just makes him look even sillier than he already looks.

Steve Rosenthal is a senior democratic operative and he has started a website for the specific purpose of making fun of McCain’s age. The website is called ‘Younger than McCain’ (and no I’m not linking it). Right now it has one video that lists things that are younger than McCain. As you can imagine, they are coming up with stuff like the Golden Gate Bridge, Coke in a can and the like. Har-de-har-har

Keep in mind that Rosenthal is a former political director of the AFL-CIO and executive director of America Coming Together, an organization specifically set up to provide soft money for the 2004 presidential race. He is now a partner in The Organizing Group.

This comes right after the 75-year-old Saboteur John Murtha made his statements about John McCain being too old while he was introducing Hillary Clinton to speak to a group of union members.

The site is not funny as Mr. Rosenthal states its intended to be. Instead, it comes across as mean-spirited, negative and juvenile. Pretty much in line with the democratic party as a whole.

The democrats hope to make a contrast between John McCain and democratic nominee in waiting Barack Obama. They think that the 30 year age difference between the two will be striking and will work in their favor. I agree, the difference between the two WILL be striking, but not because of the age.

John McCain is not afraid of anything. Barack Obama is still whining that he got asked some difficult questions at a debate last night and is refusing to do another debate. He’s taking his ball and going home :pout:. Yes. There’s a huge difference between the two. The more they both talk the more obvious the differences are.

When Barack Obama talked about wanting to bring ‘change’ to America, I didn’t know he meant he wanted to make all of America into a Marxist form of government! Woah! Lets slow down here and take a closer look at this guy.

If you add up all the little statements that get a little bit of news here and there (I hate to think of what we haven’t heard through the news!), then you start getting the picture of a guy who really doesn’t think much of the people of America. Actually, its a pretty clear picture of an elitist who sees the people as needing someone like him to tell them how to live, where to live, where to work, where to go to school, how to raise their children and to basically run their lives for them. You know, kinda like Marxism.

As everyone knows by now, Obama was speaking to a group of wealthy elitist in San Francisco without the expectation that his words would be made public. You can translate that to mean that whatever stance he takes is determined by the crowd he is speaking to. In other words, no one know who the real Barack Obama is …. but we are starting to get a clue about him.

Here a part of what Obama said to his elitist friends:

But the truth is, is that, our challenge is to get people persuaded that we can make progress when there’s not evidence of that in their daily lives. You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

So religion is the opiate of the masses - so to speak. Here’s what Karl Marx said about religion:

What were the Marxist views of religion? Because the worker under the capitalist regimes was miserable and alienated, religious beliefs were sustained. Religion, according to Marx was the response to the pain of being alive, the response to earthly suffering. In Towards a Critique of Hegel’s Philosophy of Right (1844), Marx wrote, “Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the feeling of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless circumstances.” Marx indicated in this writing that the working class, the proletariat was a true revolutionary class, universal in character and acquainted with universal suffering. This provided the need for religion.

So how does a Marxist rule? Marxism is the system of socialism of which the dominant feature is public ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange. It is the antithesis of our current system, Capitalism. In other words, if you work hard you can reap the benefits of your labors. Under Marxism, if you work hard, you labors go to the support of those who don’t work or won’t work. Its a redistribution of wealth.

A proletariat or socialist revolution must occur, according to Marx, where the state (the means by which the ruling class forcibly maintains rule over the other classes) is a dictatorship of the proletariat. Communism evolves from socialism out of this progression: the socialist slogan is “From each according to his ability, to each according to his work.” The communist slogan varies thusly: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”

Marxism or other forms of communism and socialism have been tried in various societies around the world. In every one it has been an abject failure. There is no motivation to work, to invent, to excel. Every thing you do goes to the ruling class … the government … to be redistributed to whom ever the elite view as the most needy. Often, the most needy is determined to be themselves.

Now we have an elite class in our country who would very much like to find themselves in the position of telling those of us in ‘fly over country’ … you know, us poor ignorant gun-toting, Bible thumping ignorant hillbillies, how to live our lives. They do, after all, know better than us how to spend our money.

All you have to do is add this piece of the puzzle to the many other pieces of the puzzle to start figuring out who Barack Obama really is. His wife’s many slip ups. She called American’s ignorant and saying she’d never been proud of America - I guess not if we are all toothless hillbillies! There’s Obama expecting different standards for different people, depending on who is part of his inner circle. And his questionable associations with the likes of Jeremiah Wright.

It bothers me that people are seriously considering electing someone to the Presidency of the United States when few people, if any, know who he is. His beliefs and messages are adjusted according to what audience he is speaking to. I wonder if he even knows who he is.

You win some, you lose some. In this case, Hillary Clinton is at the top of the ticket. According to the Pig Book she has beat out her competition for taking home the most pork.

Meanwhile Barack Obama, a brand spanking new Senator, gets second place. That’s a lot of pork for such a new Senator. It has to take a certain amount of arrogance nerve for a first term Senator to sneak that many pet projects into legislation. Of course, it helps when you understand that the democratic mindset is that any money you earn is theirs to take in taxes and spend as they see fit.

The nonpartisan taxpayer watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste is out with its newest Pig Book, an overwhelming detailing of all 11,610 pork barrel projects inserted in the current fiscal year’s appropriations bills by individual members of Congress.

These semi-secret spending measures cost taxpayers an extra $17.2 billion this fiscal year alone. This is the first year legislators have had to attach their names to these measures

That’s B for billion dollar$. In extra spending. That typically didn’t go through the usual legislative committee screening. A huge increase over the previous year.

And guess which one of the surviving presidential candidates likes pork the most? And the least?

According to the Pig Book (”The Book Washington Does Not Want You to Read”), New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is our new grand national oinker among presidential contenders for most pork barrel spending. She inserted a whopping 281 individual spending projects into bills for the benefit of New York interests at the cost of taxpayers everywhere.

That totals $296.2 million.

Aren’t those the people complaining about how much the war is costing?? Why yes, I think they are.

Don’t worry, they’ll just raise our taxes to cover the cost of everything they are planning … plus their pet projects.

There is one Senator who has not taken a single penny … NOT ONE RED CENT … of our tax dollars for personal projects otherwise known as pork. You guessed it, Senator John McCain.

The new national hero, on the other hand, for not inserting one penny of pork barrel spending is the Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, Sen. John McCain of Arizona. As a longtime staunch opponent of such earmarks, McCain may be expected to raise the subject of such special spending if Clinton becomes his Democratic opponent in the fall’s general election.

He may also bring it up if his opponent is Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, who may be a freshman senator but still isn’t shy about inserting special earmarks into legislation cataloged by the taxpayer group’s annual report. He accounted for 53 special earmarks, totaling almost $97.4 million.

Interestingly, Ron Paul got a little pork himself even though he campaigned against it.

Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, who still technically is in the GOP race, has campaigned against large government seeping into the lives of American citizens. However, according to the Pig Book, that didn’t keep him from proposing eight pork-spending bills totaling $22 million, including nearly $4 million to alter a Galveston bridge.

Barack Obama got pretty testy with a guy who wanted to get a picture with him today. He accused the guy of just wanting the picture so he could sell it on Ebay. That may be true, but Barack’s reaction to the guy shows that Barack is having trouble keeping up his personable facade. It also so he’s got a temper.

Oh - Barack’s people came out and said that the guy wanted the photo to sell on Ebay AFTER the video of the exchange became public.

Whatever. You just KNOW that if this had been John McCain it would have been played every five minutes on the news with the introduction that its an example of how McCain can’t control his temper. In fact, this is an example of a much worse temper tantrum than the video they showed repeatedly of John McCain supposedly losing his temper.

The media really thinks we are stupid and that they can decide who will be president by bombarding us with their own spin on the candidates and the news. We only get to see the candidates as they really are periodically through little snippets like this.

Tsk, tsk Barack. Watch your temper or you might get a reputation for being out of control.

Palestine doesn’t feel that the United States has done enough to make Israel remove any barriers preventing them easier access to killing Israeli citizens. They are launching their own campaign in an attempt to influence the election in the U.S. and boost the candidacy of Barack Obama.

This helps to explain the trolls that hit every post about Obama and it might just help explain his record breaking internet fund raising. Really, where IS that money coming from?

Is this the CHANGE that Obama keeps promising? Are these the people he wants to bring HOPE to?

I don’t know. I’m just wondering.

What is with this woman! She complains about being an outsider at Harvard. I didn’t get to go to Harvard. I was a good student, but nobody was giving me any scholarships to go to school. They certainly weren’t giving me scholarships to go to Harvard. I went to a rich kids school that wasn’t Ivy League and I felt like an outsider there. It didn’t have anything to do with race. It had to do with not having much in common with the other kids at the school. I drove a Volkswagon, most of them drove Porsches. We just weren’t in the same league at the time. My point being EVERYTHING isn’t about race. Maybe the other kids there didn’t like her because she was arrogant and couldn’t see beyond race issues herself. I imagine that never crossed her mind.

And now she tells students at the University of South Carolina that they need to embrace diversity, get out of their comfort zones and quit being ignorant.

We don’t like being pushed outside of our comfort zones. You know it right here on this campus. You know people sitting at different tables- you all living in different dorms. I was there. You’re not talking to each other, taking advantage that you’re in this diverse community. Because sometimes it’s easier to hold on to your own stereotypes and misconceptions. It makes you feel justified in your own ignorance. That’s America. So the challenge for us is are we ready for change?

By all means, let this woman keep talking.

I’m willing to bet the kids in North Carolina are a LOT more accustomed to intermingling with kids from different races than the kids in Michelle Obama’s Chicago are. Racial diversity is not something unusual for those of us in the South. In fact, we have been racially integrated for generations (granted, until a couple of generations ago it wasn’t in the way it should have been - but there has always been a lot of interaction between whites and blacks in the South and we’ve always been a part of each others lives).
