Ahmad Abu Laban, leader of The Islamic Society in Denmark calls his fellow Danes ‘lazy, uneducated, racists and ignorants who allow themselves to be manipulated by the media’. [Danish source]

You may remember this guy. He’s the one that made up some mohammad cartoons that were disrespectful of mohammad and took them to the middle east to get people rioting over the Danish cartoons that were just cartoons.

He seems a little disappointed that the Cartoon Riots have died down. Apparently, he wants to keep things stirred up.

He says he won’t leave Denmark – which is interesting since he obviously wants to destroy Denmark.

This guy is a hoot and a holler.

From the WorldNetDaily

Cartoon-protest leader welcomed 9-11
Reports tie him to bin Laden, other terrorist leaders

The Danish imam who helped instigate a protest against satirical drawings of Muhammad that has escalated into deadly riots worldwide supports al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and told Muslim worshipers not to grieve victims of 9-11, according to news reports.

Imam Ahmed Abu Laban, leader of the Islamic Society of Denmark, said in his Friday sermon days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon that he shed no tears for the victims, reported the Israeli daily Maariv.

If you go to the WorldNetDaily site you can see the Danish cartoons and the cartoons this iman created to stir up trouble.

This iman supports the globalization of islam and criticizes any european muslim who puts Western values above islam.

Aayan Hirsi Ali spoke at Harvard today. You may remember that she is one of the signers of the Manifesto Against Islam that created a stir during the height of the Muhammad Cartoon Wars.

She is an author, speaker and film maker. She is a member of the Dutch Parliament. She has been an outspoken critic of Islam, the religion in which she was raised. She has especially been critical of the treatment of women and girls under Islamic law.

She has also had to live under around the clock police protection for years as she has been condemned to live ‘an eternity in hell’ by Islamic fanatics.

And yet, she continues her work and continues to speak out.

It is encouraging to me that there is still people in the world who have courage in the face of real danger. She is heroic. And Hirsi Ali seems to do all this with grace and dignity.

The danger we face is all too real. Her’s is a message that we, in the West, need to hear.

Miss Kelly has a marvelous first hand account of her talk today. ‘How can it be that such a small woman is so feared?’ she asks.

Christopher Hutchens encourages us to make her book a best seller, The Caged Virgin.

February 2006 Spiegel interview with Ms. Ali.

There should be solidarity. The cartoons should be displayed everywhere. After all, the Arabs can’t boycott goods from every country. They’re far too dependent on imports. And Scandinavian companies should be compensated for their losses. Freedom of speech should at least be worth that much to us.

sugiero [Sammenhold Blogroll member] has the video of a Norwegian TV interview (in English). Sugiero also reports that the Organization of the Islamic Conference has threatened Ali.

Michelle Malkin has a first hand account of her speech at Harvard tonight.

Little Green Footballs weights in with video and announcement of her speech tonight. [and says: look at her eyes.]

I love a quote that Sisu pulled out of the video:

This war affects all of us. History will someday write — if we win this war — that women were among the bravest and noblest warriors to stand up to the jihadi threat.

The Sammenhold Blogroll is a group of blogs who exhibit our solidarity with Denmark in it’s fight to preserve our Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press and Western societal values.

Sammenhold is Danish for Solidarity

Please welcome to the Sammenhold Blogroll Hillbilly White Trash. Check out his post There Once was a Church in Europe.

He discusses the photo to the right.

The photograph is of The church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Brussels. The banner reads, “Allah”.

It simply boggles the mind that churches hold so lightly to their confession of faith that they would allow themselves to be turned into mosques.

I am a firm believer that the world needs poets and artists. And plenty of Warriors so that the poets and artists are free to practise their art. Pure Gum Spirits seems to be both. His posts exhibit his caring parenting, his drawings and patriotic water colors. He also cheers our successes in fighting terrorism, like in his post titled, The Hell-Fire Missle: When You Care Enough to Send the Very Best.

The Median Sib says Freedom of Speech doesn’t count if you disagree. [There are so many threats to our freedom of expression, from the left and from the Muslims. All the more reason we need to stand in Solidarity - Sammenhold!]. [There are so many threats to our freedom of expression, from the left and from the Muslims. All the more reason we need to stand in Solidarity - Sammenhold!]

Public Figures … Beware celebrates an Iraqi soldier graduating from Army Ranger School. Hooah. He’s also got a post about an Iowa family that has been banned from a restaurant for ‘wasting food’ – it doesn’t have anything to do with Sammenhold, but it struck me as really funny. You might also consider joining his blogroll on re-educating American celebritiesdon’t we wish!

FrauBudgie at Red Hot Cuppa Politics notes that the al-Quada leadership seems to have a little confusion about where their going to Jihad this time. For some reason, her quote from Mohammad al-Qahtani brought Baghdad Bob to mind :)

It’s so easy for us to get sidetracked and forget passion we felt for Sammenhold a few months ago. Remember the Manifesto Against Islam and Stand Up For Denmark.

It’s time to see what people on the Sammenhold Blogroll are up to around the blogsphere.

I only have a few minutes – so this is going to be a real quick round-up.

sugiero has a mohammad cartoon slideshow. Also, see sugiero’s post on Obession: The Movie, Radical Islam’s War against the West.

A Lady’s Ruminations says the White House press corp are pitching a fit. Poor babies! Also see her post as part of the Stop the ACLU Blogburst regarding the ACLU’s attempts to legalize the distribution of child porn – disgusting!

Carry On America has an article about George Allen of Virginia, pointing out the bias the media often exhibits towards the South and Southerners. One of my own personal irritations.

Born Again Redneck has some really good thoughts about what makes a hollywood hunk ‘hot’. He has pictures too, ladies :) . One of my personal favorites is the last one he shows.

Code Red* Women for the Troops has stories to check out, including that ridiculous story from Michigan State University in which Islamic students demand a professor be reprimanded for saying Muslim students who don’t like the West should leave the United States. Shame on him!

Mariniello honors the fallen heros of Italy. Onore ai caduti. And has an interesting discussion going on regarding the BATTLE of Iraq and the role of the United States from an Italian point of view. Yes, I had to use a translator! Viva l’Italia.

[I'm out of time for tonight - I'll round-up more Sammenhold Blogs tomorrow! Meanwhile, Ciao]

PIG Laden, hiding and shivering in some cave in the netherlands of somewhere in the middle of nowhere has issued a new tape.

The MSM says he’s being clever.

I say he’s an idiot covered with pork.

What the MSM views as clever is him trying to convince Arabs that he doesn’t mean to kill other Arabs. He’s gotten the idea the Muslims are getting a little fed up with his insurgents and jihadists killing other Muslims in their attempts to fight the West.

He says Christians and Jews are the same and are colluding to rid the world of Muslims.

He says the Saudi Prince is standing in the way of an all out cultural war with the West. (Remember their attacks against Saudi Arabia). (Arab newspapers are conveniently leaving this part out.)

He says he cares about Palestine. Then put your money and your soldiers where your mouth is, Pig Laden. Won’t happen. No Arab nation helps Palestine, they just use it as an excuse to bomb Israel.

Israel helps Palestine more than the Arab world.

Unlike the Muslims, we love our children. You can send every child in Islam out as suicide bombers if you like. We will not tolerate you or the entire Muslim world to stand in our way to protect our own children.

They say if they defeat the Anglo Saxons the rest will submit.

I say – BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU ASK FOR Osama PIG LADEN.

Americans have very short attention spans. Of course, that’s what the mullah’s count on. Osama BenOver himself once said that all they had to do was be patient, because we would lose focus.

After the initial outrage over the killings and riots and general mayhem following the Danes publication of a few political satire cartoons, we seem to have moved on.

The threat is still there and still very real.

The Danish Imam, Ahmed Akkari, who used the Danish Muhammad Cartoons to inflame the Islamic world in the Cartoon Wars has now reportedly been taped on a hidden camera threatening to kill Naser Khader, a member of Denmark’s Parliament. The reason for the death threats apparently are due to Mr. Khader founding an organization for moderate, democratic-minded Muslims in Denmark.

Agora has an excellent thorough report on the incident and the events surrounding it. Danish Imam Ahmed Akkari: Kill Naser Khader.

At first Akkari denied the threats and said ‘they are welcome to try to prove it’. Now that Akkari found out his comments had been taped he says he was just ‘jesting’. [We all know what joksters and good-time-guys those Imans and Mullahs are!]

Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen has issued a statement:

I only know of the case from the media. But if things are the way they seem, I find reason to express horror that anyone could seriously consider saying that. It’s quite shocking shocking that an elected Danish politician is threatened like that. I assume the police will investigate what’s what in this case and then I count on them to deal with it.

and

I think that, in any case – even if one is only toying with the thought of terrorist attacks against elected representatives – it is a gravely serious matter, which one must distance oneself from to the greatest degree. Apart from that, I assume as a matter of course that the Police will make inquiries into this matter.

Jyllands-Posten has reported that Naser Khader is taking time off from his political duties due to the threats.

As per Agora, there have been more threats, threats received by mail and threats to Khader and his family.

The debates go on as to whether or not Akkari was ‘jesting’ or not and what kind of consequence he should have for making threats to a Danish official.

In the meantime, Khader has had to accept protection and it is said he has suffered a nervous collapse. Apparently, he doesn’t think the joke is that funny.

When Mullahs’ mouths are moving, they are lying. They have no problem lying to Infidels (that’s us). I’m not making an assumption there – they say that themselves.

When Mullahs’ make death threats, it’s probably wise to take it seriously. All one has to do is look at their history of blowing things and people up.

I for one, am grateful to the Danes for their courage in the face of all they have been through over the past months. I also hope they know that there are many in the world who are behind them and support them.

Denmark – we’ve got your back …..

for more information on this:

See Agora’s biography of Naser Khader – it’s an inspiring story.

Agora also has the story of Ahmed Akkari and his beating of a little boy.

I’ve been listening to T.V. and reading blogs tonight and have found myself wondering what I often find myself wondering when I hear a liberal (sorry, it’s progressive now) rant on about everything that’s wrong with the U.S.A.

Where did the ability to reason get lost?

Are we wired up differently from the get-go? I mean, are some people just born with an inability to think logically? Do they understand they are making enormous leaps in logic to come to the conclusions they come to? Do they have a clue at all they are giving aid and comfort to an enemy that will cut their head off without a second thought?

I listened to a young woman tonight argue that the Battle Cry rally in San Francisco today was fascist. She hysterically claimed they were ‘brainwashing’, destroying gay rights, murderers, warmongers, etc., etc.

Video of the counter-demonstration showed a dozen or so people dressed up like cats or other such little outfits, holding signs asking, ‘Who would Jesus Bomb?’.

The poor girl in this ‘debate’ didn’t have anything to work with. Her only come back appeared to be on the line of, ‘Yeah, well, yo mama.’

She insisted that the Battle Cry group had no right to preach what they preach. I’m not that familiar with this group. But we do have free speech in this country – which is why SHE can say what SHE says. (that’s the part where the logic gets skewed somehow).

While she was ranting about how America doesn’t allow her to express herself as a lesbian – she is on national television expressing herself as a lesbian.

See what I mean? Illogical.

She said President Bush is a tyrant and doesn’t allow people to oppose him. She said he reigns over an oppressive regime that keeps women submissive and quiet. She says this while she’s opposing him on national television and as a woman was certainly not being submissive or quiet.

Illogical again.

Sigh….

Then a little later I heard the little tete-a-tete between Sean Hannity and Alec Baldwin. Chazz has a video clip and transcript of this little chat here.

More of the same. The reason part of the brain is somehow disconnected. Ranting and raving about being oppressed and how our personal liberties are being taken away.

They declare they are being denied liberties while exercising their liberties to the fullest extent. This with a very liberal sprinkling of personal and nasty insults.

A little lesson in diplomacy. These methods do not win people over. Vicious, hateful, nasty retorts do not make people stop and think to themselves, ‘Gee, I ought to stop and listen to this reasonable and rational person.’

It generally makes people mad and more aware of how out of whack the values and morality of this country have gotten. It makes most people think, ‘We have got to do something to get our country back under control’.

See, that sort of behavior backfires. The more you scream, the more people think straight-jackets are needed. And the more the country moves to the right.

A lesson in forms of government. We live in a Republic. That means that we have chosen a form of government that is ruled by the majority of the people.

I certainly don’t agree with everything that is done in this country. However, I understand that my views might not be the majority and the majority rules. So I have chosen to live in a country in which I may not always like whoever is governing at any given time.

But I understand that I can not force other people to think and behave as I think they should. Majority rules.

Right now, the majority is getting very tired of the irrational, unreasonable and very loud minority calling them names.

One last point. It’s such an easy shot. Anybody can criticise the U.S.A. with little or no consequence. Some people might get irritated at you. Some people might not go to your movies any more because all they can see is your personality rather than the character you are trying to pretend you are. But no one is going to make you wear a burka or saw off your head.

>If you are really so concerned about women’s rights, then help us fight this war. Help liberate the women of truly oppressive regimes!

If you are truly ready to get out and demonstrate and hold your fist up to the T.V. cameras, then have the guts to speak out in support of Denmark. DENMARK! A little nation that is standing alone in the face of enormous international pressure to submit to the will of Islam. Now THAT takes guts. They are standing up for Freedom in the eye of the storm, when there is real danger to them for doing so.

That is what will matter. That is courage.
