Cindy SheehanCindy Sheehan is pictured to the right at the Washington DC anti-war Die-In held on September 15th. Apparently, she didn’t die. And apparently she didn’t really retire when she promised us she was going to. The woman is like a bad penny!

The terrorists her son died fighting are thanking her for her service to their cause.

Muslim terrorist leaders are “thankful” for the efforts of activist and congressional candidate Cindy Sheehan, stating in a new book Sheehan’s anti-Iraq war activities and her statements against President Bush “give us hope” the U.S. will change its Mideast policies.

“You [Sheehan] give us hope and you show us that there are different Americans than those whom we know,” stated Ramadan Adassi, chief of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group in the West Bank’s Anskar Refugee Camp.

“This sincere woman says what we’ve been saying all these last years – Saddam never threatened America or its security. Now Iraq is being decimated and America is losing. Voices like Sheehan’s show things can change,” said Adassi.

Its a good thing the woman is dumb as dirt or she might have trouble sleeping at night considering what she has done to the memory of her son. Given the fact that she is being endorsed by the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade is enough to give anyone nightmares. This is the group that has taken responsibility for every suicide bombing in Israel over the last three years and proudly claims to have carried our scores of fatal shootings and hundreds of bombing attacks against Israeli citizens.

I’m sure that doesn’t bother her though. She’s been openly anti-Jewish for years now.

In the book Schmoozing with Terrorists there are a number of quotes thanking Sheehan for her work on their behalf. Here are a few of the highlights.

Among the quotes highlighted for the terrorists were statements calling Bush “the biggest terrorist in the world” and “worse than Osama bin Laden,” and Sheehan’s labeling of Iraqi insurgents multiple times as “freedom fighters.”

and …

Terrorist: ‘I thank Sheehan from the deep of my heart’

Palestinian terrorist leaders were elated to hear Sheehan blamed the Iraq war on Israel, according to Klein. David Duke of Klu Klux Klan notoriety also began to support Sheehan after this statement.

In a letter to ABC News’ “Nightline” published on the Internet, Sheehan wrote: “Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a neo-con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the army to protect America, not Israel.”

The chief of the West Bank Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, Ala Senakreh, stated:

“I agree with her completely and thank her from deep in my heart when she dares to tell the Americans that their children are killed for the interests of Israel.

“The American security has nothing to do with the atrocities in Iraq and in Palestine. I tell this noble mother that American soldiers and Israeli soldiers receive common training and share their experience in how to turn these atrocities even more cruel. You are losing your sons not for a better life for you, but for Israeli interests,” stated Senakreh.

The leader of the northern Gaza strip Al Aqsa Brigade, Abu Hamed, praises Sheehan.

“I hope that all the Americans will understand what this great mother understood. We hope you do not consider this mother as a humanitarian case who speaks from her own pain, because she is saying the truth. I hope you will take her as a good example.”

To say this woman makes me sick is an understatement. She is certainly an expert at self promotion and has made herself quite a bucket full of money in return for her betrayal of her country. The name Judas Iscariot comes to mind.

How does it feel to be the darling of the jihadist set, Cindy? Are you proud of your accomplishments? Has anyone ever gained so much slandering the memory of a murdered son?

Do the thirty pieces of silver fill the emptiness of your soul or do they at least weight on your conscious the way they did for Judas?

Cindy Sheehan

I know it’s not really news that Cindy Sheehan would stoop to using her dead son for her own agenda and for publicity. But still. It makes me sick whenever she does it, especially this blatantly.

This woman just makes me sick.

We all would be better off if she had just stayed retired more than 15 minutes.

Cindy Sheehan
Cindy’s Back!

After an incredibly short retirement from the public eye, Peace Mother Sheehan is back in the news. It seems like just six weeks ago she said she was going to take herself out of the public forum and ‘try to be normal’. She said at the time that she wanted to pay more attention to her three living children. In fact, it WAS just six weeks ago.

Now the Associated Press is reporting that the face of the anti-war movement is taking on her former friend, Nancy Pelosi.

Nancy Pelosi

(CRAWFORD) Cindy Sheehan, the soldier’s mother who galvanized the anti-war movement, said Sunday that she plans to run against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unless she introduces articles of impeachment against President Bush in the next two weeks.

Sheehan said she will run against the San Francisco Democrat in 2008 as an independent if Pelosi does not seek by July 23 to impeach Bush. That’s when Sheehan and her supporters are to arrive in Washington, D.C., after a 13-day caravan and walking tour starting next week from the group’s war protest site near Bush’s Crawford ranch.

“Democrats and Americans feel betrayed by the Democratic leadership,” Sheehan told The Associated Press. “We hired them to bring an end to the war. I’m not too far from San Francisco, so it wouldn’t be too big of a move for me. I would give her a run for her money.”

Messages left with Pelosi’s staff were not immediately returned.

She plans her official candidacy announcement Tuesday. Sunday wrapped up what is expected to be her final weekend at the 5-acre Crawford lot that she sold to California radio talk show host Bree Walker, who plans to keep it open to protesters.

Cindy SheehanCindy Sheehan has announced she will no longer be the public face of the anti-war movement.

Forbes

“I’ve been wondering why I’m killing myself and wondering why the Democrats caved in to George Bush,” Sheehan told The Associated Press while driving from her property in Crawford to the airport, where she planned to return to her native California.

“I’m going home for awhile to try and be normal,” she said.

In what she described as a “resignation letter,” Sheehan wrote in her online diary on the Daily Kos blog: “Good-bye America … you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can’t make you be that country unless you want it.

“It’s up to you now.”

Cindy was the perfect face for the anti-war left. Her son was killed in battle during his second tour of duty in Iraq. She had left leanings and was easily malleable. She was willing to say and do whatever was prescribed to keep the anti-war movement in the headlines. She played her part well, at first.

The problem is that she went farther than many of the media outlets were willing to go. She cozied up to socialists dictators, especially Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. She used the progressive rhetoric of the outrageously far left. It’s not that the media minded it so much, it’s just that they wanted to keep their own noses clean. They had to hedge their bets. The media started backing away from covering her sad, pathetic gatherings.

When Sheehan first took on Bush, she was a darling of the liberal left. “However, when I started to hold the Democratic Party to the same standards that I held the Republican Party, support for my cause started to erode and the ‘left’ started labeling me with the same slurs that the right used,” she wrote in the diary.

She said she sacrificed a 29-year marriage and endured threats to put all her energy into stopping the war. What she found, she wrote, was a movement “that often puts personal egos above peace and human life.”

Welcome to the real world Cindy. It’s difficult to grow up and realize that powerful people have powerful egos. It’s difficult to grow up and have our childhood illusions of a ‘pretty’ life crushed. It’s difficult to grow up and realize that life is not fair and that regardless of what we do we can and will have difficult lives. That’s the nature of the beast.

With her time in the spotlight behind her, Cindy says she’s going to go home and start paying more attention to her other three children. That’s something I suggested she do a year or more ago.

The left wanted a poster-mother for the anti-war movement and she fit the bill. When her usefulness diminished they started backing away from her. Now Cindy has to deal with the issues that made her their darling to begin with. Belatedly. Sadly.

I sincerely wish her well.

My anger at the ever growing anti-war movement is growing like a nasty weed. Every day I hear another person damning the US, the Military, the politicians ( ok I’ll give ya the politicians ) and I just want to go a few rounds with Jane Fonda-herself or misguided Cindy Sheehan

Thousands followed the Silly Cindy Shenanigans to Washington D.C. to re-enact a ‘Hippies Trying to Relive Their Youth’ march commemorating a march they did in the 1960s. It was basically a bunch of 60 year olds reliving the 1960s. Same thing another day.

From all the news reports one would think that the big news event of the day was that a hand full of old hippies had gathered to march to the Pentagon in remembrance of their power in the 1960s to politically force the United States to surrender to the communist North Vietnamese resulting in the executions of 3 million who had worked with and fought with the Americans to save their own country, the humiliation of the United States and the resulting decades of empowerment for the enemies of the United States.

Gathering of EaglesThat is certainly all I heard about on the news. My local news didn’t even MENTION that there was a counter protest by Patriots. The national news mentioned it, sometimes. But I never saw any pictures or hear anything at all about the Patriots.

The media did their best to give a positive spin to the little flower children. I repeatedly heard that they were disappointed in the turn out, but then it was cold, they said. I thought, IT’S COLD??? My son is patrolling the streets of Baghdad in mud, sand, and human excrement with Iranian and al-Qaeda snipers taking pot shots at him and they are so pampered they are worrying about getting too COLD?? What kind of protesters ARE these? They must not believe very strongly in their cause. Then I saw a blurb on St. Patrick’s Day parades. They were very well attended – cold or not. So it wasn’t about the cold.

The media did a lot of close framed shots so the crowd looked bigger than it was. They talked about thousands of people rather than 10s of thousands. They kept showing and interviewing the same handful of people.

What I found particularly interesting, was that the main stream media completely ignored the REAL story about the opposing protests in Washington D.C. on March 17, 2007.

The real story was on the other side of the street. It was the 30,000 American Patriots who came to Washington D.C. to protect the monuments the anti-war protesters were rumored to plan on defiling. In particular the Vietnam Memorial.

Cindy Shenanigans seems to be working a little overtime lately to grab some headlines. I’ve seen something about her every time I’ve turned around the last few days. [source]

I’ve resisted blogging anything about her because … well …. what is there left to say?

But then I read a post at Jo’s Cafe today. Jo quoted Rush as follows:

She doesn’t know that she’s been exploited and used from the outset, and I think these people who have exploited her and used her and have created expectations in her own mind and heart about her importance and relevance, if they just cast this woman aside, there’s no telling what she will do. They cast her aside and basically say, all right, Cindy, 15 minutes of fame is up, your usefulness has maxed out, go back to being nothing in your Birkenstocks, I don’t know what the woman would do. I know how fleeting fame is. I know how much average, ordinary loser types desire it, and when they acquire it every dream has come true, and then when it’s taken away from them because they haven’t genuinely earned it, then we’re talking serious potential psychological problems.

I’ve thought the same thing. The Shenanigans just isn’t that bright and you can tell her usefulness is coming to an end. It’s actually kind of sad.

She’s down to being a characture and the left is moving on to greener fields.

Now it’s down to a Silly Sheehan Rolling Fast’ that hasn’t gotten the kind of press she has become accustomed to. [source]‘

There are a couple more selected quotes from over at Jo’s. They are from Cindy Shenanigan’s interview with Nora O’Donnell. She continues to regurgitate her mantra about not hating Bush or trashing Bush but by definition he’s a terrorist, blah, blah, blah. She needs someone to write her some new lines cause those are getting very predictable.

O’DONNELL: Would you rather live under Hugo Chavez than George Bush?

SHEEHAN: Yes. You know, Hugo Chavez is not a dictator like you introduced him. He’s been democratically elected eight times, and he’s not anti-American. … He has helped the poor people of America. He has sent aid to New Orleans. He has sold heating oil to disadvantaged people in America, in the United States of America at low cost, and he — the people of this country love him. [video][transcript]

I just ran across MORE on the lies of Cindy Shenanigans. Yes. I know. We are all sick to death of her and her ….. her …. her CONSTANT attempts to get attention.

The Chicken Hawk Express has an article here and here. He examines the various tales she’s told about why her son doesn’t have a headstone.

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d57/b_gardenia/misc/cindy_peace.jpgI’ve read quotes in which she told that she just couldn’t bear the thought of a TOMBstone for her son. She couldn’t even think of him in a cemetary so she thinks of it as ‘Casey’s Garden’.

I’ve read quotes in which she blames a fellow Church member who was going to help her pay for the funeral expenses but apparently didn’t get around to it.

I’ve read quotes in which she blames the mortuary for not paying the cemetery.

I’ve read quotes in which she says the Army treated her badly and didn’t pay the expenses and told her it was her problem.

To hear her various reasons for not getting a headstone for her son’s grave one would think the entire world has conspired against her to prevent her from memorializing her son with a headstone.

ChickenHawk also points us to the Gateway Pundit who has researched some of Shenanigan’s lies.

Once when asked why her son didn’t have a headstone, this was her reply:

I will tell the world why Casey has no marker yet. In the first place, does anyone who is attacking me know how Casey was brought home from Iraq? We picked him up in the United loading dock in a cardboard box and he was off-loaded into a hearse without one honor guard. We had to wait for about a half hour on a curb near the United freight area for his one escort, who rode from Dover Air Force Base in a seat, while Casey was treated as an over-sized piece of luggage. Has anybody held her other sobbing children who are sitting on a curb in San Francisco, waiting for the remains of their big brother to be carried over to the dock by a forklift?

WE don’t see them because Mama Bush doesn’t want to “bother her pretty mind” with the images… Our government discards and dishonors its own.

    Huh?

The Gateway Pundit contacted the funeral home whose owners were none too happy with Mama Sheehan’s allegations against them. Here’s some of what they had to say:

    When questioned about the casket:

“The casket arrived in San Francisco from Dover which is 67 miles from Vacaville. Sacramento would not have been as far. The casket was a beautiful hardwood casket, government regulation. It was covered in an “airtray” to protect it during the flight. It is a certified covering that all caskets must be covered in when they are flown from one location to another.

    What about the forklift?

“There was no forklift. The military men present and the airport employees were very reverent in unloading the casket of this young man. They set the casket on a set of rollers and were very respectful in unloading Casey Sheehan.”

    On the Sheehan Family:

This was very upsetting because we have known the Sheehan’s for years through St. Mary’s Catholic Church where Cindy Sheehan was the youth director. Casey Sheehan was a wonderful young man. We have known the family for years.

    On Cindy’s article:

We do not know why she would want to bring down the name of this fine and respected funeral home. Cindy is sticking with her story. We have, of course, kept all of the receipts that show we paid the cemetery. If Cindy Sheehan wanted to pick on someone, she picked the wrong ones.

There’s more – go on over and read it.

I find this woman to be down right pitiful. She’s obviously not the brightest bulb in the pack.

She also enrages me. The very fact that she would use the death of her son to get this kind of attention, praise, pity, and financial gain is just beyond the pale.

Here is a much more noteworthy tribute to fallen heros.
