					James Sherwood is the author of four <b>Thames & Hudson</b> books: <b>Savile Row: The Master Tailors of British Bespoke</b> (2010),
					<b>Fashion at Royal Ascot: Three Centuries of Thoroughbred Style</b> (2011), <b>The Perfect Gentleman: The Pursuit of Timeless Elegance in London</b> (2012)
					and <b>James Sherwood's Discriminating Guide to London</b> (2015). T&H call the Discriminating Guide as 'an unabashed companion to the very finest experiences in the world's most cosmopolitan city'.<br><br>
					James's knowledge of luxurious and historic London was honed writing and editing the <b>Louis Vuitton Guides to London</b> for over a decade and reporting on fashion,
					men's tailoring and the diamond business for over twenty years on the <b>Financial Times</b>, <b>International Herald Tribune</b>, <b>Independent-on-Sunday</b>, <b>the Telegraph</b>, <b>Times</b> & <b>Spectator</b>.
					He is now fashion history editor of <b>The Rake</b> who christened James 'Guardian of Savile Row' and a contributing editor to <b>Arena Homme +</b>.<br><br>
					James's relationship began in 2006 when Pitti Uomo invited him to curate <b>The London Cut: British Bespoke Tailoring</b> at Palazzo Pitti and write the accompanying book.
					The exhibition subsequently travelled to the British Ambassador's Residences in Paris and Tokyo. He curated the Savoy Museum in 2010 and consulted on books, archives
					and design for <b>Anderson & Sheppard</b>, <b>Gieves & Hawkes</b> and <b>Spencer Hart</b>. He is currently curating a new archive room for the Row's founding father <b>Henry Poole & Co</b>.<br><br>
					James's fascination for London's sartorial history led to being asked to pen <b>Royal St. James's: Five Centuries of Style</b> for the Carlyle Group in 2013
					and <b>Turnbull & Asser</b>'s house biography in 2015. James was most familiar on British television co-presenting the fashion coverage at <b>Royal Ascot for the BBC</b> with <b>Suzi Perry</b>
					and for commentating at state occasions such as the Royal Wedding in 2011 and HM The Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012. He has appeared on <b>ITV This Morning</b>, <b>BBC Radio 4</b>, <b>BBC Breakfast</b>,
					<b>Channel 4</b> and <b>Show Studio</b>.<br><br>
					James Sherwood's weekly online diary Letters from Bloomsbury Square is a whimsical view on the absurdities and amusements of life in London. He is working on a fifth Thames & Hudson book.
